Persuasive writing is quite different from reflective or expository writing. In a traditional essay, you are asked to make a point (thesis) and then support it with evidence and examples. In a persuasion piece, you will be arguing a position with regard to a controversial issue. You need to begin by asserting your position, then defend it with solid supporting reasons. This WebQuest will take you through that process.
