Step 1: On the Resource page, click the first link titled "HazCom". While viewing the Power Point presentation, complete the organizer to help you classify the information presented. (The organizer is the second link on the Resource page.)
Step 2: Using the SQ3R strategy (third link on resource page) skim through the "Household Hazardous Waste Guide Sheet" (fourth link on resource page) to learn more about MSDSs.
Step 3: On the Resource page, select the fifth link titled "MSDS Quiz". Print out the quiz and complete the questions. Turn it in for a grade.
Step 4: On the Resource page, select the sixth link titled "MSDS Information Memo". Print the assignment sheet. Use the link to "Spray Away MSDS" on the Resource page to compose your memo. Type the memo in Word and print a final copy after carefully reviewing it and using the spell check.
Step 5: Go to the "Conclusion" page of this WebQuest and post your response to the message board assignment.
