Activities you could try...
Marcus and Julia are really impressed with your discovery skills. So they've some ideas for activities that you might like to try at home. Take and look and let us know how you get on.
Create a cartoon storyboard showing how Romans used their bath-houses. Write the names of the rooms in Latin.
You are a Roman who has just built a new bath-house. You want to tell other Romans about the excellent facilities and location of it. Design a poster to persuade people to visit your bath-house.
Build a model of a hypocaust system, using card, scissors and glue. You could use air-hardening clay if you have more time, to make the piles of tiles that formed the heating system in bath-houses. Don't forget to show where the furnace went.
Make a model of the Roman Baths in Bath. Take a digital photograph of it and send it to lindsey_braidley@bathnes.gov.uk. We'll put Marcus and Julia's favourites on the Roman Baths website!
